Hello again!!
As promised (thanks to scheduling in blogger!!) here is my 2nd entry for the D-Lish Scraps Birthday Party.
This entry is for this challenge using this mood board
As soon as I saw this board and Agnus’s beautiful page I was inspired to FINALLY get around to creating the background that I had seen on another friends Instragram feed.
I had so much creating this particular LO but am so impatient!! I tried to heat set the gesso background so I could get the colour happening but it was taking (what seemed like!!) forever so I popped it aside and went on with my other LO.

I used the Heidi Swapp colour shines to create my rainbow: red (sweet cherry) and yellow (mustard) and pink (primrose) and green (mint green), orange (coral) and purple (I mixed teal, primrose and white) and blue (navy). I knew which photo I wanted to use and had the title picked out already using the gorgeous cork piece! Pulled out (well tipped the whole milk bottle out!!) some buttons, chose some washi and veneer pieces and stuck it all done. Then I got some shiny black thread and stitched each button into place.
So much fun!!

Gorgeous page Mel. Love how you get messy! I haven't stitched buttons for ages…that used to be my thing…my online name used to be Buttons!
