Hey everyone and I am so happy to be sharing my first layout using the Pink Fresh Studio Let’s Stay Home collection, “The Best” for Anna’s Craft Cupboards!
For this layout I wanted to create a messy back ground so started with some white gesso. The next layer was some black stamping using a Tim Holtz stamp with permanant ink. Then some texture with this stencil and some Nuvo Mousse; which I then watered down and painted on, for colour! My final layer before photos was some splatters in both black and white.
I had already picked out the Annabelle “The Best” title and these photos so started layering those up with some papers from the 6×6 paper pad. Everything was looking a little monochromatic and flat so I chose 2 other colours to focus on – yellow and pink. The yellow in this collection is simply gorgeous!!
In order for the photos to pop and the page to look more “finished” I added in 2 small clusters. I’ve pulled in some stickers from the cardstock stickers, puffy stickers and also the chipboard flair.
How absolutely adorable are those fabric bows?!?? I simply HAD to have them in life and this one was in the perfect colours for this page!
Unusually for me, I don’t have a tonne to say about these photos – one word totally sums up the idea of “The Best” which is pockets!! I added that to one of the label stickers using the rainbow puffy alphas stickers – love, love, love!
Next I tore 2 small sections from the background. After roughing up the edges I stuck some of the same blue paper from the photo layers behind. Finally I added in some splatters in yellow and pink and my page is done!
