Brothers & Best Friends

Hi again!

2 12×12’s in as many days!! Remarkable! Haha!

So, for this page I used a GIANT (A4, printed at home) photo and found inspiration here. 

Again, I used prompts from my little boxes and I pulled: 12×12 layout, Cameron collection (love, love, love this range but struggle to use it), chipboard, machine stitching, mists, ephemera pack and background stamping. 

I did “cheat” a little in that I used one of my Dusty Atic paints as s mist. Just squirted some into a bottle, added water and shook it up and voila!

PL Week 11 and 12

Well, it’s been a little while since I have shared any of my PL with you guys =) I am no where near as far behind IRL as I am on my blog – slowly plugging away and changing and finding my style =)

But tonight I am here to share with you my week’s 11 and 12 =)

At the bottom right there is a couple of really cute tags that I received with the couple of happy mail parcels I received this week. It was pretty simple to create – just printed my collage and used one of my SU dies to cut the pretty shape off the end, attached the photo to a piece of backing card (on 3 sides) and there you go =)

Up the top in the middle there is a flip pocket. We welcomed a new (early!!) niece to our family in week 12 (the card I created is here) and I wanted to add both a 6×4 print of her sweet little face as well as a super cute story about my big boy Jacob.

This insert was mostly a digi creation of mine but I added some felt pieces from {scrAp this!} and I am super happy with the way it turned out =) You probably can’t read what it says but after I told Jacob (he was a little over 3 at the time) that his cousins had a new baby sister he was very concerned that we were going to get rid of his baby and replace him with a new baby. I did comfort him but it was just so sweet the way he looked at me and was so genuinely concerned that we were just going to trade Hunter in for a new baby!

Rawr Means I Love You in Dinosaur

Hello there!!

Well I am actually here to share with you today a 12×12 layout I did! Without any help at all either!!

I started this on retreat in May and knew that it needed something else and Charms Creations Sketch Challenge for May gave me the last little bit of inspiration I needed! Head over to her FB page (here) – she makes the gorgeous felt embellies I have used (the star and the banner) and runs challenges every month.
Without further ado here is my page of my gorgeous big boy at a birthday party last year.


I have used a Bazzill Range called Dino-Mite (don’t you just LOVE it!!) and the chevrons have been cut from a co-ordinating piece of 12×12 from the EP Brothers Mini Theme. The star and the flag are both from Charms Creations and my title is actually from a Little Yellow Bicycle Range called Babysaurus. 

Here is a close up of the title – Jacob is ALWAYS roaring – to the point that after Hunter made his first words (mum-mum-mum then bub-bub-bub) ra-ra-ra qucickly followed!!


Needless to say, I am entering this page into this months sketch challenge – only my 2nd challenge ever!!
